Accessibility Statement
Donaustahl strives to make its website accessible. We want all users, regardless of their individual abilities or the technology they use, to be able to use our website without restrictions.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.donaustahl.com
Fundamentals and applied standards
When designing and developing our website, we follow the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA as well as the requirements of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 in its currently valid version.
Status of compliance with the requirements
The verification of compliance with the requirements is based on an assessment conducted by us in August 2025.
This website is partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website and remove existing barriers.
Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts, not all areas of our website may yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following content and are working to resolve it:
-
PDF documents: Some PDF documents available for download (e.g., brochures, technical data sheets, certificates) may not be fully accessible (e.g., not optimized for screen readers). We strive to make new documents accessible or to revise older documents.
-
Alternative text for images: It is possible that not all images and graphic elements have meaningful alternative text. This is continually reviewed and corrected.
-
Videos: Embedded videos may lack subtitles or audio descriptions (acoustic descriptions of visual content).
-
Keyboard usability and contrast: Individual interactive components may not yet be optimally operable via keyboard or may have insufficient color contrast.
Creation of this Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on August 28, 2025.
