Do you have several years of experience in industry (defense, high-tech manufacturing, mechanical engineering) or operational experience in a military environment? We are looking for experts in:

  • Engineering & Design: Focus on weapons technology (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, CAD, system integration).

  • Manufacturing & Production Engineering: (precision mechanics, machining, process optimization).

  • Quality Management & Assurance: (ISO 9001, testing procedures, compliance).

  • Project Management & Business Development (Defense).

  • Export Control & Compliance.

 

Former soldiers with combat experience

​

Your operational experience and understanding of military requirements and equipment are invaluable to us. We offer targeted career paths for transitioning into the defense industry (e.g., in the areas of technology, quality management, or project management). Combat experience from Ukraine is particularly welcome.

Your application process with us.

We value a transparent and speedy application process.

​

  1. Application: Send us your documents (resume, cover letter optional, relevant references) by email.

  2. Screening: Our specialist department will carefully review your documents. If they arouse our interest, you will be invited to an initial meeting.

  3. Initial Meeting (remote/phone): An interview (approx. 30-45 minutes) with HR and/or the department head to align expectations.

  4. Further Interview (remote/in-person): An in-depth discussion and introduction to the team. Possibly including technical questions or a short case study.

  5. Final Interview (in-person): A discussion with the management team.

  6. Offer: If everything fits, we will make you an attractive offer.

Please note that activities in the security and defense sectors place special demands on the reliability of our employees. Employment at Donaustahl GmbH may require the willingness to undergo a security clearance (SÜ) in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SÜG).
